New singular solutions for the (3+1)-D Protter problem
For the nonhomogeneous wave equation with three space and one time variables we study a boundary value problem that can be regarded as a four-dimensional analogue of the Darboux problem in R2.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Investigation the soliton solutions of mussel and algae model leading to concentration
In this study, the abundant families of soliton solutions are constructed for the mussel-algae model which provides information about represents the concentration of algae in the water layer, and mussel biomass of sediment surface in the per square meter.

Positive Solutions of Singular Integral Equations
The nonlinear singular integral equation \[ y(t)= h(t)+ \int^T_0 K(t,s)f \bigl(y(s)\bigr)ds,\;t\in\langle 0,T\rangle,\;T\in(0,+ \infty \rangle \] is considered. The Schauder fixed point theorem \((T< \infty)\) and the Schauder-Tikhonov fixed point theorem \((T=+ \infty)\) are used to establish the existence of continuous, positive solution of the ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Renormalization schemes for SFT solutions
In this paper, we examine the space of renormalization schemes compatible with the Kiermaier and Okawa [arXiv:0707.4472] framework for constructing Open String Field Theory solutions based on marginal operators with singular self-OPEs.

This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Positive solutions for a class of singular boundary-value problems
This paper concerns the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for Sturm-Liouville boundary-value problems. We use fixed point theorems and the sub-super solutions method to two solutions to the problem studied.

Singular solutions to the Seiberg-Witten and Freund equations on flat space from an iterative method
Although it is well known that the Seiberg-Witten equations do not admit nontrivial $L^2$ solutions in flat space, singular solutions to them have been previously exhibited -- either in $R^3$ or in the dimensionally reduced spaces $R^2$ and $R^1 ...
