V-singular values of rectangular tensors and their applications
The positive definiteness of rectangular tensors has wide applications in solid mechanics and quantum physics. By modifying the existing definition of singular value for rectangular tensors, some V-singular value inclusion sets for rectangular tensors ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Rank-one perturbation bounds for singular values of arbitrary matrices
Rank-one perturbation of arbitrary matrices has many practical applications. In this paper, based on the relationship between the singular values and the eigenvalues, we discuss singular value variations and present two-side bounds of the singular values

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Componentwise Perturbation Analysis of the Singular Value Decomposition of a Matrix
A rigorous perturbation analysis is presented for the singular value decomposition (SVD) of a real matrix with full column rank. It is proved that the SVD perturbation problem is well posed only when the singular values are distinct.

Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

Research on rolling bearing fault diagnosis technology based on singular value decomposition
To solve the difficulty of selecting the number of effective singular values in Singular Value Decomposition denoising, a new method to determine the number of effective singular values is proposed.

A Note on Inclusion Intervals of Matrix Singular Values
We establish an inclusion relation between two known inclusion intervals of matrix singular values in some special case. In addition, based on the use of positive scale vectors, a known inclusion interval of matrix singular values is also improved.
