Characterization and expression of Cd8 molecules in mandarin fish Siniperca chuatsi

Journal of Fish Biology, 2012
The full‐length complementary DNA (cDNA) sequences encoding cd8α and cd8β molecules were sequenced and characterized from mandarin fish Siniperca chuatsi. Conserved motifs and residues were found to be present in derived peptides of the Cd8 molecules.

Development of SNPs in Siniperca chuatsi Basilewsky using high-throughput sequencing

Conservation Genetics Resources, 2020
The Chinese perch (Siniperca chuatsi Basilewsky) is an endemic freshwater fish species in eastern Asian countries. The perch is mainly distributed in the Yangtze River drainage in China. The wild population of S. chuatsi has declined dramatically due to habitat degradation, anthropogenic activities and eutrophication.

Molecular cloning of two C1q-like cDNAs in mandarin fish Siniperca chuatsi

Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, 2008
C1q, a subunit of the C1 complex, plays a key role in the recognition of immune complexes to initiate the classical complement pathway. In this study, we reported two C1q-like cDNAs from mandarin fish (Siniperca chuatsi), mC1q-like-1 (mC1qL1) and mC1q-like-2 (mC1qL2).
