Effect of sintering temperature on the characteristics of sludge ceramsite
Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2008In order to investigate the effect of sintering temperature on the characteristics of sludge ceramsite and find an optimal sintering temperature, dried sewage sludge, clay, and water glass were mixed at ratios of dried sewage sludge/clay=33% and water glass/clay=15%.

On the confluence of ultrafast high‐temperature sintering and flash sintering phenomena
Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 2023Abstract Ultrafast high‐temperature sintering (UHS) and flash sintering are novel methods for rapid sintering of ceramics, often completed in just a few seconds. Here, we show that both also share two additional features: an abrupt rise in electrical conductivity, which is electronic, and electroluminescence.

A Review of Ceramic Sintering and Suggestions on Reducing Sintering Temperatures
Advanced Performance Materials, 1997Theories and applications associated with sintering of ceramics and reducing of sintering temperature are reviewed. The whole sintering process is divided into three sub-processes as powder preparation, compaction and sintering, and each sub-process is discussed in terms of its possible contribution to the reducing of sintering temperature.

Low sintering temperature of ZnNb2O6 for silver co-sintering
Ceramics International, 2014The purpose of this study is the making of multilayer type I capacitors composed of ZnNb2O6 co-sintered with silver electrodes. In order to lower the sintering temperature, we have mixed three commercially available glass frit powders with ZnNb2O6. The sintering behaviours were studied by thermomechanical analysis (TMA).

Dependence of the mechanical properties of sintered hydroxyapatite on the sintering temperature
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2006Abstract This paper discusses the dependence of microstructure and mechanical properties of sintered hydroxyapatite (HA) on the temperature of sintering. Hydroxyapatite powder was prepared by the precipitation method and its purity and crystallinity were evaluated via XRD.
