Site effects how-to and when: An overview of retrospective techniques to accommodate site effects in multi-site neuroimaging analyses [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology, 2022
Site differences, or systematic differences in feature distributions across multiple data-acquisition sites, are a known source of heterogeneity that may adversely affect large-scale meta- and mega-analyses of independently collected neuroimaging data ...

Distant Site Effects of Ingested Prebiotics [PDF]

open access: yesNutrients, 2016
The gut microbiome is being more widely recognized for its association with positive health outcomes, including those distant to the gastrointestinal system. This has given the ability to maintain and restore microbial homeostasis a new significance.

Rapid assessment of S-wave profiles from the inversion of multichannel

open access: yesAnnals of Geophysics, 1998
The importance of detailed knowledge of the shear-wave velocity structure of the upper geological layers was recently stressed in strong motion studies.

Spatial Variation and Frequency Dependence of Lg Wave Attenuation With Site Response Correction Along the CCSE Array in Central California, US

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, 2022
We estimate lateral Lg wave attenuation (Q) structure at four center frequencies (0.75, 1, 2 and 2.75 Hz) along the Central California Seismic Experiment array in western US crossing the San Andreas Fault and Central Valley.

Pharmacokinetic models for propofol-defining and illuminating the devil in the detail [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The recently introduced open-target-controlled infusion (TCI) systems can be programmed with any pharmacokinetic model, and allow either plasma- or effect-site targeting. With effect-site targeting the goal is to achieve a user-defined target effect-site

open access: yesDizhen xuebao, 2023

Surface Level Synthetic Ground Motions for M7.6 2001 Gujarat Earthquake

open access: yesGeosciences, 2018
The 2001 Gujarat earthquake was one of the most destructive intraplate earthquakes ever recorded. It had a moment magnitude of M w 7.6 and had a maximum felt intensity of X on the Modified Mercalli Intensity scale.

open access: yesDizhen xuebao, 2019
