Effective 3D modeling of heritage sites
Over the past few years, a remarkable increase has occurred in the demand for 3D models for cultural heritage applications. The techniques employed have evolved from surveying and CAD tools and/or traditional photogrammetry into laser scanning and more automated image-based techniques. However, selecting the most effective technique for a given project

Effective Visualization of Object Allocation Sites
Modern software execution platforms are designed to efficiently cope with a massive number of objects creations and destructions. However, ensuring that the memory consumed by an application execution is not excessive remains a manual activity. It is widely known that debugging memory issues is a tedious and error-prone activity.

RNA-Binding protein HuR and the members of miR-200 family play an unconventional role in the regulation of c-Jun mRNA [PDF]
Post-transcriptional gene regulation is a fundamental step for coordinating cellular response in a variety of processes. RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) and microRNAs (miRNAs) are the most important factors responsible for this regulation.

Adsorption of imidazole on Au(111) surface: Dispersion corrected density functional study [PDF]
We use density functional theory in the generalized gradient approximation to study the adsorption of imidazole on the Au(111) surface and account for dispersion effect using Grimme's empirical dispersion correction technique.

Jahn-Teller Distortion and Ferromagnetism in the Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors GaN:Mn
Using first-principles total-energy methods, we investigate Jahn-Teller distortions in III-V dilute magnetic semiconductors, GaAs:Mn and GaN:Mn in the cubic zinc blende structure. The results for an isolated Mn impurity on a Ga site show that there is no

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...
