Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

A SYSTEMS APPROACH FOR EVALUATING ON-FARM SITE-SPECIFIC MANAGEMENT TRIALS: A CASE STUDY WITH VARIABLE RATE MANURE AND CROP QUALITY RESPONSE TO INPUTS

open access: yes
Site-specific application of manure has the potential to improve crop production and environmental quality. If manure is applied where it is needed, in the quantity required by the crop, over application, with attendant runoff and leaching problems can ...

The Influence of Seismic Parameters on Site Response

open access: yesCivil Engineering Dimension, 2015
Geotechnical earthquake engineers have been trying to determine the most appropriate solution techniques for ground response analysis under earthquake loadings. This paper presents the importance of the adequate soil behavior model to simulate earthquake

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Seismic site response in Siracusa

open access: yes, 2015
In the frame of the Italo–Maltese research project (Costituzione di un Sistema Integrato di Protezione Civile Transfrontaliero Italo–Maltese, SIMIT), researches financially supported by the European Community were performed in the area between the south–eastern Sicilian coast and the islands of Lampedusa and Malta. Aim of these stud- ies is to mitigate

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

PRECISION AGRICULTURE: ECONOMICS OF NITROGEN MANAGEMENT IN CORN USING SITE-SPECIFIC CROP RESPONSE ESTIMATES FROM A SPATIAL REGRESSION MODEL

open access: yes
Adapting variable rate technology (VRT) to Argentine conditions requires methods that use inexpensive information and that focus on the inputs and variability common to Argentine maize and soybean growing areas.

Site response analysis considering strain compatible site period

open access: yes, 2016
In practice it is common to estimate site effects using a single proxy, or single variable such as 30 m shear wave velocity (VS30) or site period. Many studies have investigated merits of proposed proxies with contradicting recommendations.

Development of a site and motion proxy-based site amplification model for shallow bedrock profiles using machine learning

open access: yesFrontiers in Built Environment
Accurate prediction of site amplification is crucial for seismic hazard assessment, particularly at shallow bedrock sites where limited data can constrain modeling efforts.
