Haemangiomata of skeletal muscle
Abstract Two cases of skeletal muscle haemangiomata are described. All previous cases of this condition are reviewed and a brief account is given of the important facets of aetiology, diagnosis, and treatment. Wherever a soft-tissue swelling presents in the region of skeletal muscle the possible diagnosis of

Rapid Deep Vat Printing Using Photoclickable Collagen‐Based Bioresins
Collagen‐based resin formulations based on thiol‐ene photoclick chemistry are demonstrated. These resins enable easy handleability under neutral conditions and further allow facile fabrication of multicellular tissue constructs via tomographic or FLight printing.

Muscle ultrasound is a convenient technique to visualize normal and pathological muscle tissue as it is non-invasive and real-time. Neuromuscular disorders give rise to structural muscle changes that can be visualized with ultrasound: atrophy can be objectified by measuring muscle thickness, while infiltration of fat and fibrous tissue increase muscle ...

The Contributions of Skeletal Muscle PKC Theta to Diet-Induced Obesity
Protein Kinase C- Theta (PKCθ) is a gene predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells and skeletal muscle. In skeletal muscle, PKCθ regulates fat metabolism and insulin sensitivity.

Estrogen-related receptor α (ERRα) : a novel target in type 2 diabetes [PDF]
Recent studies have shown that reduced mitochondrial content and function in skeletal muscle are common features of type 2 diabetes. Here, we review the molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of mitochondrial genes in skeletal muscle, focusing ...
