An ultralight, multilayer anisotropic tactile sensor—an artificial Pacinian corpuscle—exhibits ultrahigh tangential sensitivity (1022 kPa−1) and spatiotemporal sensing. It discriminates static, sliding, and rolling contacts, detects incipient stick–slip via high‑frequency signatures, and enhances robotic touch (100%/98.18% accuracy for active/passive ...

The effect of skin friction coefficient on the wing Cessna 172S
The main idea of this paper is to give a theoretical-deep investigation of the skin friction coefficient on the wing of Cessna 172S. The total drag of Cessna 172S is depending on the parasite drag and induced drag where the parasite drag or zero-lift drag depending mainly on the skin friction drag of Cessna 172S.the skin friction drag has been ...

Multimodal Layer‐Crossing Interrogation of Brain Circuits Enabled by Microfluidic Axialtrodes
The study introduces a flexible microfluidic axialtrode that integrates optical, electrical, and chemical modalities within a single polymer fiber. By redistributing electrodes and fluidic channels along the fiber axis via angled cleaving, it enables simultaneous optogenetic stimulation, electrophysiological recording, and drug delivery across brain ...

This work successfully fabricated ion‐conductive hydrogels with low hysteresis and high conductivity using 3D printing technology. By adjusting the component ratios, the properties of the hydrogels can be tuned to meet diverse sensing requirements. Finally, a multimodal sensing sign language recognition system was constructed based on this hydrogel ...

Salt Water Drops Slide Faster: Ionic Modulation of Drop Friction
Salt ions markedly accelerate water drops on conductive substrates coated with nanometer‐thin hydrophobic layers. Across diverse electrolytes and surfaces, higher ion concentration consistently lowers kinetic friction by reducing contact angle hysteresis.
