Advancing Light‐Triggered Alkyd Paint Curing: (Cp)FeII(naphthalene)](PF6) Catalysts with Enhanced Photosensitivity and Increased Performance in Pigmented Alkyd Paints

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
[(Cp)FeII(naphthalene)](PF6) catalysts are reported with improved curing efficiency of alkyd paints compared to [(Cp)FeII(arene)](PF6), particularly in dark‐pigmented formulations. Their improved photosensitivity enables faster drying at lower concentrations, presenting a promising alternative to conventional industrial driers under regulatory pressure.

Classifying the Natural Tooth Color Spaces of Different Ethnic Groups

open access: yesColor Research &Application, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aimed to classify the natural tooth color spaces of various ethnic groups and assess the coverage error (CE) of the Vita 3D‐Master shade guide. A sample of 490 volunteers from five ethnic backgrounds participated, with inclusion criteria set for adults aged 20– to 45 with healthy, correctly aligned natural teeth free of restorations.

How Do I Look? The Impact of Unique and Intermediate Hues on Perceived Attractiveness

open access: yesColor Research &Application, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hering's unique hues (uHs) are hypothesized to exhibit enhanced perceptual salience due to their role in the opponent‐process theory of color vision, which posits that human color perception is structured around two opposing pairs: red–green and yellow–blue.

Categorization and Labeling of Red Variations in Lip Makeup

open access: yesColor Research &Application, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The color cosmetic industry lacks a standardized and universally accepted system for practical color communication, posing significant challenges. This study addresses these challenges by categorizing and labeling variations of red in lip makeup.
