Extended Skyrme interaction (I): spin fluctuations in dense matter
6 pages, 5 Figs., 2 Tabs.International audienceMost of the Skyrme interactions are known to predict spin or isospin instabilities beyond the saturation density of nuclear matter which contradict predictions based on realistic interactions. A modification

The nucleus-nucleus optical potential derived from a complex Skyrme-type interaction [PDF]
peer reviewedWe construct a complex energy functional to be used in the calculation of the nucleus-nucleus optical potential. The functional is related to a Skyrme-type nucleon-nucleon interaction derived from a finite range complex interaction ...

Skyrme force-like extension of the nuclear pairing interaction
In this paper, isovector and isoscalar pairing correlations were investigated using generalized Bardeen–Cooper–Shrieffer theory and a Skyrme force-like form of the residual interaction.

New Skyrme nucleon-nucleon interaction for the mean-field approximation [PDF]
The effective Skyrme type interactions have been used in the mean-field models for several decades, and many different parameterizations of the interaction have been realized to better reproduce nuclear masses, radii, and various other data. Today, there

Description of low-lying state structures with Skyrme interaction
We use the quasiparticle random phase approximation to study properties of the low-lying 2+ states in the even-even nuclei around 132Sn. Starting from a Skyrme interaction in the particle-hole channel and a density-dependent zero-range interaction in the

Spin-orbit interaction in the Skyrme model
Abstract The spin-orbit and quadratic spin-orbit components of the interaction between two skyrmions are derived and found to resembel the corresponding ϱ-meson-exchange interactions between nucleons.

The nucleon microscopic optical potential based on the Skyrme interaction
The nucleon microscopic optical potential based on the conventional and extended Skyrme interactions are achieved by the single-particle Green function method through nuclear matter approximation and local density approximation.

Three-nucleon interactions in the Skyrme model
Abstract We calculate three-body interactions in the Skyrme model using the product ansatz, and include collective-coordinate quantization in order to have states of good spin and isospin for the baryons. We find that the interactions are then greatly reduced as compared with ones obtained without this quantization.
