Integral Experiments and Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Lab‐Scale Liquid Distributors

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Four lab‐scale liquid distributors were evaluated based on the homogeneity of the resulting liquid distribution. The best‐performing design reduced maldistribution and wall flow compared to a single‐point liquid distribution and remained stable under varying operating conditions, including different gas and liquid loads.

Conflict Management Strategies Among Cohabiting Undergraduate Students in Ilorin, Nigeria

open access: yesConflict Resolution Quarterly, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Conflicts among cohabiting partners are often more complex or intractable because their relationships are not formalized culturally or institutionally. The inability to resolve conflicts among cohabiting partners may threaten their safety and well‐being.

SLA-Wizard - Automated Configuration of RESTful API Gateways Based on SLAs

open access: yes
In the digital age, the API Economy, fueled by microservice architectures, is revolutionizing software development. Crucial to this transition is the Open API Specification (OAS) that standardizes API description of functional elements and has been complemented with extensions like SLA4OAI to define limitations for the API users, like qoutas or rates ...

Maximising trait evenness promotes the recovery of plant species richness in managed grasslands

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Land‐use intensification threatens biodiversity, and restoring degraded ecosystems remains challenging due to the difficulty of identifying the rules governing community assembly and dynamics. Investigating the temporal dynamics of trait‐abundance distributions (TADs) along long‐term time series offers a promising approach to disentangle the influence ...

Faster growing and more functionally diverse: global change alters functional trait composition of mountain plant communities in the European Alps

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Understanding how global change reshapes mountain plant communities is essential for predicting biodiversity and ecosystem function in a warming world. Using resurvey data from over 1400 non‐forest vegetation plots across the European Alps, we show that community‐weighted means of key functional traits capturing important dimensions of plant ecological

Artificial intelligence for adaptive neuromodulation in drug‐resistant epilepsy

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Drug‐resistant epilepsy (DRE) affects nearly one third of people with epilepsy and is associated with substantial cognitive, psychiatric, and mortality burdens. For patients who are not candidates for resection or laser interstitial thermal therapy, neuromodulation therapies such as vagus nerve stimulation, deep brain stimulation, and ...

Beyond the Classroom: Cognitive and Educational Insights Into Gameplay‐Based Second Language Learning

open access: yesFuture in Educational Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This pilot study investigated how the narrative‐rich Chinese AAA game Black Myth: Wukong supports advanced Mandarin learners. Using reflective journals, semi‐structured interviews, and exploratory electroencephalogram (EEG), we examined learners' cognitive, affective, and cultural experiences.
