Slamming Simulations in a Conditional Wave
A study of slamming events in conditional waves is presented in this paper. The ship is sailing in head sea and the motion is solved for under the assumption of rigid body motion constrained to two degree-of-freedom i.e. heave and pitch.

NePO: Neural Point Octrees for Large‐Scale Novel View Synthesis
We introduce Neural Point Octrees (NePOs), a scalable radiance field representation that organises point clouds hierarchically for efficient optimisation and rendering of large scale scenes. NePOs enable level of detail selection, joint refinement of appearance and camera poses, and real‐time rendering of hundreds of millions of points.

Global Hydroelastic Response of Catamarans due to Wetdeck Slamming [PDF]
Global hydroelastic effects due to wetdeck slamming on a catamaran at Froude numbers between 0.30 and 0.33 in regular head waves are studied theoretically and experimentally. The wetdeck has a horizontal transverse cross-section.

Investigation of Numerical Analysis for Slamming Loads
Numerical analysis to evaluate slamming is today accurate but rather time consuming. The industry lacks a practical method to predict slamming on appendages in a simple manner since the simulation cost is too high.

LeafFit: Plant Assets Creation from 3D Gaussian Splatting
Abstract We propose LeafFit, a pipeline that converts 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) of individual plants into editable, instanced mesh assets. While 3DGS faithfully captures complex foliage, its high memory footprint and lack of mesh topology make it incompatible with traditional game production workflows. We address this by leveraging the repetition of

Step2Motion: Locomotion Reconstruction from Pressure Sensing Insoles
Abstract Human motion is fundamentally driven by continuous physical interaction with the environment. Whether walking, running, or simply standing, the forces exchanged between our feet and the ground provide crucial insights for understanding and reconstructing human movement. Recent advances in wearable insole devices offer a compelling solution for

Finite element local analysis of wave slamming on offshore structure
Offshore platforms are exposed to waves slamming event. Waves hitting the columns with a high velocity are in many cases the design criteria for column structure.

Experimental Study and Numerical Simulation on Slamming of High-Speed Trimaran
The study on slamming of high speed trimaran is a very complicated and significant topic. Ship slamming is a nonlinear unsteady problem in which dynamic boundary and coupling among structure, air and water should be considered.
