A new family of multivariate slash distributions
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2014ABSTRACTIn this article, a new form of multivariate slash distribution is introduced and some statistical properties are derived. In order to illustrate the advantage of this distribution over the existing generalized multivariate slash distribution in the literature, it is applied to a real data set.

The multivariate skew-slash t and skew-slash Cauchy distributions
Model Assisted Statistics and Applications, 2012The slash distributions are flexible distributions that can take skewness and heavy tails into account. In this article we define skewed versions of multivariate slash t distribution and multivariate slash Cauchy distribution. These distributions belong to the multivariate skew-slash elliptical family.

A new class of slash-elliptical distributions
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2018AbstractIn this paper, we consider a generalization of the modified slash distribution. We define the new family through the quotient between an elliptically distributed random variable and the power of an exponential random variable with parameter equals to 2, both independent.

A generalized skew slash distribution via gamma-normal distribution
Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, 2016In this paper, we introduce a generalization of the slash distribution via the gamma-normal distribution. We define the new slash distribution by relation of a gamma-normal random variable with respect to a power of a uniform random variable. The newly defined distribution generalizes the slash distribution and is more flexible in terms of its kurtosis

A new family of multivariate skew slash distribution
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2017ABSTRACTIn this article, the new family of multivariate skew slash distribution is defined. According to the definition, a stochastic representation of the multivariate skew slash distribution is derived. The first four moments and measures of skewness and kurtosis of a random vector with the multivariate skew slash distribution are obtained.

EM Estimation for Multivariate Skew Slash Distribution
2017In this paper, the class of multivariate skew slash distributions under different type of setting is introduced and its density function is discussed. A procedure to obtain the Maximum Likelihood estimators for this family is studied. In addition, the Maximum Likelihood estimators for the mixture model based on this family are discussed.

Slashing turnaround-time by introducing distributed computing
SPIE Proceedings, 2002Mask data preparation has become a major concern in the supply chain from design to the fab. The mask industry is facing a number of problems induced by a massive introduction of OPC. Affecting the design flow the exponentially escalating data volume came into focus because the data-prep infrastructure fails to keep up with this development.

The Beta Moyal-Slash Distribution
2014In this paper, we introduce a generalization of the Moyal distribution via the beta-Moyal distribution. We define the new distribution by relation of a beta-Moyal random variable with respect to a power of a uniform random variable as ordinary slash distribution definition.
