Mechanisms and algorithms for dynamic resource sharing in network slicing

open access: yes, 2021

Supplementary information for Ultrareliable low-latency slicing in space–air–ground multiaccess edge computing networks for next-generation Internet of Things and mobile applications

open access: yes, 2023
Article abstractWe study the problem of ultrareliable and low-latency slicing in multiaccess edge computing (MEC) systems for the next-generation Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile applications operating in the space-Air-ground integrated network.

Agnotology, Trustworthiness, and Uncertainty in the Presentation of Research Findings [PDF]

open access: yesHuman Research in Rehabilitation
As editors and scholars, we have a few serious concerns about the presentation of research findings in refereed journals. These concerns range from a lack of theoretical, research, or contextual foundation to misinterpretation of information to a ...

Network Slice Robustness with Function Sets

open access: yesNOMS 2024-2024 IEEE Network Operations and Management Symposium
Network slicing allows leveraging virtualization techniques for the creation of multiple, logically-isolated network instances over a shared infrastructure. In general, it is composed of a set of unique network functions with a specific physical capacity request.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Level Sets of Weak-Morse Functions for Triangular Mesh Slicing [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In the context of CAD CAM CAE (Computer-Aided Design, Manufacturing and Engineering) and Additive Manufacturing, the computation of level sets of closed 2-manifold triangular meshes (mesh slicing) is relevant for the generation of 3D printing patterns.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
