A technique that transforms a set of images acquired as a rotating frame about an axis (Z axis) into a set of images along the Z axis in presented. This technique is applied to the three-dimensional visualization of the in vivo human lens. A Scheimpfling slit camera acquired 60 optical images through the in vivo human lens.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Match-Unity: Long-Form Text Matching With Knowledge Complementarity
Semantic text matching is a fundamental task in Natural Language Processing, with existing methods mainly focusing on short texts. However, handling long texts remains a challenge, as conventional approaches often involve slicing or keyword filtering ...

Variable fused deposition modelling - concept design and tool path generation [PDF]
Current Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) techniques use fixed diameter nozzles to deposit a filament of plastic layer by layer. The consequence is that the same small nozzle, essential for fine details, is also used to fill in relatively large volumes ...

Sliced Inverse Regression and Independence in Random Marked Sets with Covariates [PDF]
Dimension reduction of multivariate data was developed by Y. Guan for point processes with Gaussian random fields as covariates. The generalization to fibre and surface processes is straightforward. In inverse regression methods, we suggest slicing based on geometrical marks.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
