LONG RANGE AND SHORT RANGE FRICTIONAL SLIP-LINES ON PLANE CONTACT SURFACE IN PLASTIC COMPRESSION (THE RULE OF ISOCLINIC GRADIENT)

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 1958
In the recent years, the theory related to friction-lines has been independently developed both in Europe and here, according the information reached the author in 1956. These investigations are based on the condition of least frictional resistance at a point. In 1954, a variational equation (2a) on classical basis was given on a meeting for the related

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Verification-guided modelling of salience and cognitive load

open access: yes, 2009
Well-designed interfaces use procedural and sensory cues to increase the cognitive salience of appropriate actions. However, empirical studies suggest that cognitive load can influence the strength of those cues.

Companion D: Topology and Selection Rules for Junction-Slip (Neutron → Proton)

open access: yes
This companion formalizes the topological selection rules and symmetry-layering assumptions behind the neutron junction-slip transition in NJSR. It documents how winding/sign conventions, admissible junction moves, and topology constraints define which transitions are allowed and how charge/spin bookkeeping is enforced across brane and bulk sectors. It

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. The hydrogels are also integrated as 3D channels in organic electrochemical transistors as part of
