Impedance Synthesis of Flat Slot Antenna Arrays

A problem of impedance synthesis of a two-dimensional flat antenna arrays consisting of narrow linear slots is solved. The slots are cut in a perfectly conducting screen, which geometric centers coincide with nodes of a rectangular grid with double periodicity. The slots are excited by voltage δ-generators in the center of the slot apertures.

Design of a Slot Antenna Array Using Array-antenna Decoupling Surface

A decoupling method for a slot antenna array is proposed in this paper. The array-antenna decoupling surface (ADS), which consists of partial reflection metal patches, is designed to reduce the mutual coupling among antenna elements. A prototype of a four elements slot antenna array using ADS is demonstrated.

In mobile communication, omnidirectional directivity and circular polarization are convenient properties because when they are used, acquisition and track operations for direction and polarization are not needed. Annular slot monopulse antenna arrays

This paper describes the design and performance of annular slot planar arrays which generate pencil beams and monopulse tracking beams in both principal planes. These planar arrays consist of a transmission line in the form of a radial waveguide whose upper plate contains annular groups of linear slots.
