Planar antennas employing printed circuit techniques are ideally suited for aircraft, spacecraft and mobile-land applications. Keeping these in view, a 12×4-element planar array antenna has been developed. The antenna has a power gain of 19 dB. It has a half power beamwidth of 6° in the H-plane and 20° in the E-plane.

Slot antenna array on triangular waveguide
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015A new slot array antenna is presented which is based on triangular waveguide. The modes and the leakage of an imperfectly fabricated waveguide are examined by simulation, and this helps to identify a low cost structure. The slots are in the two side walls of the triangular waveguide.

2013 International Workshop on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Circuits and System Technology, 2013A waveguide slot array antenna with corner reflector array of high performance for a microwave radar system at 10 GHz frequency band is presented. The waveguide, the slot array and the corner reflector array are located together on the cover plate of the antenna, which makes the antenna highly efficient.
