A dual-function slot antenna at microwave and millimeter-wave (mm-wave) band is proposed. The design consists of a slot printed on the edge of the structure ground plane. A short-circuited varactor diode (VAR) is used to achieve the frequency tunability from 2.05 to 2.7 GHz (4G, WLAN) with a maximum realized gain of 4.5 dBi.

A Broadband Slotted Ridge Waveguide Antenna Array
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2006A longitudinally-slotted ridge waveguide antenna array with a compact transverse dimension is presented. To broaden the bandwidth of the array, it is separated into two subarrays fed by a novel compact convex waveguide divider. A 16-element uniform linear array at X-band was fabricated and measured to verify the validity of the design.

Bandwidth Enhancement of Resonant Slot Array Antennas
Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2007A new method of increasing the bandwidth of resonant slot array antennas is presented. The proposed method, unlike the traditional one, does not use the matching condition to the waveguide; instead, a criterion is imposed so that the input impedance variation of the waveguide slot is minimized.

Low profile tapered slot array antenna
2010 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2010The paper presents a new design of a wideband low profile tapered slot array antenna. To achieve a low profile, a novel low-profile balun with a pair of cavities was invented. The new balun allows a planar power divider to be tightly integrated with array. The overall depth of the array is about 0.48λ at the lowest operating frequency.

Pattern reconfigurable slot antenna array
2016In this paper, an antenna with reconfigurable radiation pattern in H-plan at 2.45 GHz for high power applications is presented. It is based on a 3 slots array in E-plane covered partially with two mobile metallic flaps in order to reduce their length and in consequence they ensure the mechanical reconfiguration pattern in H-plane.
