Textured Surface Slot Antenna

2007 Loughborough Antennas and Propagation Conference, 2007
In this paper, we provide numerical and experimental verification of the size reduction and polar pattern modification that can be achieved by using a slot excited textured surface antenna as compared to a conventional slot antenna constructed from a flat perfectly conducting metal sheet, PEC.

Annular slot monopulse antennas

IRE International Convention Record, 2005
This paper describes the design and performance of annular slot planar arrays which generate pencil beams and monopulse tracking beams in both principal planes. These planar arrays consist of a transmission line in the form of a radial waveguide whose upper plate contains annular groups of linear slots.

Planar Slot-Array Antenna

IETE Journal of Research, 1981
Planar antennas employing printed circuit techniques are ideally suited for aircraft, spacecraft and mobile-land applications. Keeping these in view, a 12×4-element planar array antenna has been developed. The antenna has a power gain of 19 dB. It has a half power beamwidth of 6° in the H-plane and 20° in the E-plane.

Endfire Tapered Slot Antenna

1997
This paper describes an endfire exponentially tapered slot antenna (it is called Vivaldi antenna). This antenna has been intended for the use in active natenna applications by direct integration with active devices. It can replace the conventional MIC dipole and resonator antennas with its distinct advantages of a sharper beam for the same order of ...
