Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Topological properties of P.A. random graphs with edge-step functions
In this work we investigate a preferential attachment model whose parameter is a function $f:\mathbb{N}\to[0,1]$ that drives the asymptotic proportion between the numbers of vertices and edges of the graph.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Critical dynamics of ballistic and Brownian particles in a heterogeneous environment
The dynamic properties of a classical tracer particle in a random, disordered medium are investigated close to the localization transition. For Lorentz models obeying Newtonian and diffusive motion at the microscale, we have performed large-scale ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

ON THE ALMOST PERIODIC AT INFINITY FUNCTIONS FROM HOMOGENEOUS SPACES
We consider homogeneous spaces of functions defined on the real axis (or semi-axis) with values in a complex Banach space. We study the new class of almost periodic at infinity functions from homogeneous spaces.

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Sox2 Acts in a Dose-Dependent Fashion to Regulate Proliferation of Cortical Progenitors
Summary: Organ formation and maintenance depends on slowly self-renewing stem cells that supply an intermediate population of rapidly dividing progenitors, but how this proliferative hierarchy is regulated is unknown.

Capillary-gravity wave transport over spatially random drift [PDF]
We derive transport equations for the propagation of water wave action in the presence of a static, spatially random surface drift. Using the Wigner distribution $\W(\x,\k,t)$ to represent the envelope of the wave amplitude at position $\x$ contained in ...

Functional limit theorems for the Bouchaud trap model with slowly varying traps
We consider the Bouchaud trap model on the integers in the case that the trap distribution has a slowly varying tail at infinity. Our main result is a functional limit theorem for the model under the annealed law, analogous to the functional limit theorems previously established in the literature in the case of integrable or regularly varying trap ...
