Ay et al. investigated the cellular mechanisms behind the role of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in FGF23 production. They revealed that LPA cooperates with 1,25‐dihydroxyvitamin D (1,25D), that is, the bioactive form of vitamin D known to stimulate FGF23 synthesis. This synergy entails MAPK signaling and the induction of the gene encoding the interleukin‐

ABSTRACT Background Chronic pain affects 20%–30% of the population worldwide, leading to significant distress, disability and financial burden. Pain management strategies focusing on pain reduction have shown limited effects on functioning; however, behavioural treatments aimed at enhancing resilience have demonstrated strong empirical support. CD4 T Cells Acquire Innate Capability Upon Classical T Cell Activation
The innate actions of the immune system allow for a rapid response to potential threats. Here we show that upon classical T cell activation, both murine and human adaptive immune cells can acquire innate capabilities allowing them to respond to cytokines in a TCR independent manner.

The Role of Dendritic Cells in the Differentiation of T Follicular Helper Cells
T follicular helper cells (TFH) are a subset of recently discovered CD4+ T cells. Their major function is to participate in the formation of germinal centres (GCs) and promote B cell proliferation and differentiation to play important roles in the production of antibodies. Currently, the functions of TFH cells are clear.

Investigating Polyreactivity of CD4+ T Cells to the Intestinal Microbiota
T‐cell recognition of microbiota‐derived epitopes is key to immune homeostasis. Here, we used an unbiased screening platform to identify novel immunogenic epitopes from Akkermansia muciniphila and Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. We demonstrated that these epitopes are conserved across multiple other bacterial strains, suggesting their potential relevance

Using hope theory to understand changes from professional learning in inclusive education
Abstract Professional learning for quality teaching is a lifelong enterprise. Nevertheless, it entails a considerable cost with varying outcomes. Drawing on Snyder's hope theory and Pantic's teacher agency, this paper aims to present a model aimed at deepening our understanding of teachers' intentions and competencies in inclusive education.

Probing TCR Specificity Using Artificial In Vivo Diversification of CDR3 Regions
Diversification of transgenic TCRs by CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated mutagenesis of Tcra and Tcrb chain genes in vivo converts monoclonal repertoires of known specificity into an oligoclonal pool of TCRs of altered antigen reactivities. This generally applicable approach helps to identify crucial amino acid residues in the CDR3 regions required for antigen ...
