Guidelines for visualization and analysis of DC in tissues using multiparameter fluorescence microscopy imaging methods

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 53, Issue 11, November 2023., 2023
This article provides state‐of‐the‐art protocols for identification, visualization and quantitative analyses of dendritic cell subsets in tissues by different immunofluorescence microscopy approaches. Abstract This article is part of the Dendritic Cell Guidelines article series, which provides a collection of state‐of‐the‐art protocols for the ...

Autoantigen‐selected B cells are bystanders in spontaneous T cell‐driven experimental autoimmune hepatitis

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 170, Issue 2, Page 214-229, October 2023., 2023
Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is marked by autoantibodies and hepatic infiltration of B cells and plasma cells, possibly indicating a pathogenic role of B cells in the disease. Using a spontaneous mouse model of AIH, we show that B cell depletion did not prevent disease manifestation.

LCMV induced downregulation of HVEM on antiviral T cells is critical for an efficient effector response

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 52, Issue 6, Page 924-935, June 2022., 2022
HVEM‐ligand interaction has been proposed to have differential effects on T‐cell response. Here, we investigate the role of HVEM upon acute and chronic lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) infection. We found that HVEM expression is potently downregulated during the effector phase in virus‐specific T cells and remained dampened even after in the ...

The ICOS–ICOSL pathway tunes thymic selection

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, Volume 100, Issue 3, Page 205-217, March 2022., 2022
We show that inducible T‐cell costimulator (ICOS) expression is upregulated as T cells mature in the thymus and that its ligand is expressed by important thymic antigen‐presenting cell populations that regulate negative selection of autoreactive T cells.

Vitamin A controls the allergic response through T follicular helper cell as well as plasmablast differentiation

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 76, Issue 4, Page 1109-1122, April 2021., 2021
This study analyzes antigen‐specific B and T lymphocytes in an adoptive transfer airway inflammation mouse model in response to 9‐cis retinoic acid (9cRA) and after lymphocyte‐specific genetic targeting of the receptor RARα. RARα overexpression in antigen‐specific B cells promotes differentiation into plasmablasts at the expense of germinal center B ...

Comparison of versioning methods to improve the information flow in the planning and building processes

open access: yesTransactions in GIS, Volume 25, Issue 1, Page 134-163, February 2021., 2021
Abstract Version management is a prerequisite for digital information flow between phases in the planning and building processes. Information evolves over time and many parties retrieve information from the various phases. The aim of this article is to evaluate versioning methods, focusing on geodata buildings in the 3D cadastre process.

Avsked i coronatider

open access: yesSociologisk Forskning, 2021
