Three flavanonol glucosides have been isolated from the rhizome of Smilax glabra. Their structures were identified as isoengetitin, isoastilbin and astilbin on the basis of their physicochemical and spectral data. Full as signment of their 1HNMR and 13CNMR chemical shift signals was established by various 2D-NMR techniques.
