Overcoming Printing and Interfacial Challenges in Liquid Metal Direct Writing for Integrated Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Liquid metal direct writing is advanced from a technological and fundamental point. Utilizing a kinematic bed, printing on large surfaces with irregularities is enabled. Furthermore, a pressure‐driven flow during printing is discovered that affects the thickness of traces.

Soil degradation processes in the Italian agricultural and forest ecosystems

open access: yesItalian Journal of Agronomy, 2013
A number of processes of degradation threaten soil functions. Ten of them are acknowledged by the European Union and fifteen by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), but at least another seven have been indicated by different

Stretchable and Strain‐Tolerant Gold‐Coated Fibrous Biosensor for Superoxide Anion Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A breathable, stretchable gold nanomesh–TPU fiber platform is developed via controlled electroless deposition, enabling uniform through‐thickness conductivity while preserving porosity. Functionalized with superoxide dismutase, the system achieves selective, real‐time electrochemical detection of superoxide with high sensitivity, mechanical durability,

Response of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-gracecum L.) to sodicity

open access: yes, 2012
Field trials were conducted at Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) to study the effect of sodicity on growth, yield and cation composition of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.).

Screening of Big Onion Varieties for Sodicity Tolerance at Cauvery Delta Zone in South India

open access: yes, 2022
Sodicity is a major factor affects crop growth and productivity at global level. Out of 1.5 billion ha of cultivable land at global level, 23% are affected due to salinity and 37% by sodicity.

Dual‐Responsive Dynamic Covalent Bond‐Based Assembly of Lipid‐Nanozyme Systems via Multi‐Target Synergy and Efficient Target Enrichment for Ischemic Stroke Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This system adopts a biomimetic phospholipid structure, covalently binding iNOS inhibitors, neuroprotective agent PCA and vitamin E derivatives through pH/ROS dual‐responsive bonds, and assembles them with Prussian blue nanozyme to form PBB@AHA. It can efficiently penetrate the blood‐brain barrier and simultaneously release multiple active components ...

Modeling salinity and sodicity risks under long-term irrigation with medium salinity water: Kinneret catchment as a case study

open access: yesAgricultural Water Management
Climate change is intensifying droughts and reducing freshwater availability in arid, semi-arid, and Mediterranean regions. Agricultural areas within the Lake Kinneret basin (Israel) are currently irrigated with high-quality Dan Spring water; however ...

Características químicas e salino-sodicidade dos solos do Perímetro Irrigado Califórnia, SE, Brasil Characteristcs chemical and soil salinization in the Irrigated District of California, SE, Brazil

Comparative patterns of principal component and cluster analysis under sodicity and normal soil conditions in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2023
Rice is an important food crop that feeds majority of world population. The crop is sensitive to sodicity stress and the area under sodicity is gradually increasing, resulting in decline in productivity.

Table_1_Bread Wheat With High Salinity and Sodicity Tolerance.docx

open access: yes, 2019
Soil salinity and sodicity are major constraints to global cereal production, but breeding for tolerance has been slow. Narrow gene pools, over-emphasis on the sodium (Na+) exclusion mechanism, little attention to osmotic stress/tissue tolerance ...
