Here, we reported a series of molecular‐rotor‐based photoactivated oxidase mimics, DAPy‐Xm, in which heavy atom incorporation enhances both ROS generation and cold‐adapted property. Among them, DAPy‐Im enables efficient photo‐oxidation of ergosterol and photocatalytic H2O2 production at low temperature.

Salinity and Sodicity Adaptation and Mitigation Options
Soil salinity and sodicity are twin constraints to agriculture production in many countries causing significant losses of crop production and land degradation. Once the salinity and sodicity problems are properly diagnosed, an integrated soil reclamation

Wheat growth and phytoavailability of copper and zinc as affected by soil texture in saline-sodic conditions [PDF]
Nutrient disorders in saline-sodic soils can adversely affect crop growth. In order to evaluate the growth response of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) to Cu and Zn and the phytoavailability of these essential elements, a pot experiment was conducted in ...

NARFL Knockout Triggers Ferroptosis‐Driven Vascular Endothelial Dysfunction
NARFL is vital for CIA and oxidative stress resistance. NARFL deletion in HPMEC cells, zebrafish, and mice is lethal and rescued by a Ferroptosis inhibitor. NARFL deficiency disrupted its interaction with CIA proteins, decreased aconitase activity, increased IRP1 activity, induced Fe overload, and led to ferroptosis and oxidative stress, resulting in ...

Chitosan and Brassinosteroids Mitigate Ion Imbalance and Enhancing Stolon Production in Strawberry
Excess sodium in soil disrupts ionic balance and limits water uptake, negatively affecting growth and stolon production in strawberry plants. This study assessed the effects of chitosan (CTS), brassinosteroids (BRs), and thidiazuron (TDZ) on stolon ...
