Salinity and Sodicity Status of the Floodplain Soils of Kebbi State, North Western, Nigeria
Floodplain soils are the sites for most of agricultural activities during dry seasons. With efficient irrigation facilities such as tube wells and water pumps, they can produce 2-3 short duration crops during a year. However, due to persistent irrigation

A sulfated polysaccharide (SCP) from Cyclocarya paliurus alleviates ulcerative colitis by reshaping the gut microbiome. This remodeled microbiota orchestrates the upregulation of the host‐derived lipid 12‐HEPE, which directly inhibits the TLR4/NF‐κB pathway to suppress inflammation.

Screening of sodicity tolerant and to survey parental polymorphism in CSR 11 X MI 48 cross using SSR markers [PDF]
Rice (Oryza.sativa.L) is adapted to all types of soils. Soils in semi-arid or arid regions, especially those with ineffectivedrainage, accumulate salt as irrigation water evaporates leaving behind deposits of soluble salts.

Sodicity in irrigated soils in Saskatchewan: Chemistry and structural stability
Irrigation with sodic waters may damage soil structure, but neither the processes involved nor the critical levels of exchangeable Na have been well defined for prairie soils.

Xenogeneic Mitochondrial Transplantation Improves Selected Age‐Associated Phenotypes in Mice
Yak‐derived xenogeneic mitochondrial transplantation improves selected age‐associated phenotypes in mice, enhances mitochondrial functional readouts, and engages host mitochondrial quality‐control pathways. Broad tissue biodistribution, increased ATP production and mtDNA copy number, reduced ROS levels and dysfunctional mitochondria, improved motility ...
