The Effect of Some Antibiotics, Natural and Chemical Compounds on Swarming Motility of Proteus mirabilis [PDF]

open access: yes
Background: Proteus mirabilis known for its motility, swimming and swarming motility and involvement in various infections, these two types of motility are important for tissue colonization, thus increase the pathogenicity of the bacteria.

MeCP2 Lactylation Protects against Ischemic Brain Injury by Transcriptionally Regulating Neuronal Apoptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MeCP2 lactylation protects against ischemic stroke by reducing brain infarct volume and improving neurological outcomes. Lactylation at K210/K249 exerts neuroprotective effects by repressing the transcription of apoptosis‐associated genes, including Pdcd4 and Pla2g6. HDAC3 and p300 serve as key regulatory enzymes for MeCP2 lactylation following stroke.

Tetrahedral Nitrogen Atoms Arrangement in A‐Site Cations: A New Approach for Regulating Sensitivity and Energy of Perovskite Energetic Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The urotropine is selected as the A‐site cation in PEMs, and four urotropine‐based PEMs ([C6H14N4][M(ClO4)3]) are successfully prepared. Compared with the cubic PEMs, the crystal structure of the urotropine‐based PEMs has an expansion along the c‐axis.

Generation of Site‐Specifically Labeled Affinity Reagents via Use of a Self‐Labeling Single Domain Antibody

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
Several methods have been used to label antibodies to facilitate visualization of cognate targets. Here, we leverage a new variety of conjugation chemistry, based on a crosslinking nanobody, to label target‐specific nanobody constructs with functionalities of choice.

Gamma rays and sodium azide induced variations in bio-physiological and agronomical traits in linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.)

open access: yesHeliyon
Linseed is a valuable oilseed crop with huge therapeutic importance due to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids in the form of Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

Bioorthogonal Reaction of o‐Quinone with Furan‐2(3H)‐One for Site‐Selective Tyrosine Conjugation and Construction of Bispecific Antibody Complexes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A site‐selective, efficient, and mild tyrosine conjugation via tyrosinase oxidation and nucleophilic addition, allowing for site‐selective functionalization of peptides, recombinant proteins, and IgGs. Site‐selective mono‐functionalization of IgGs at Y296 enables the construction of immunoliposomes.
