Robust Artificial Polyenzyme for Recyclable Pickering Emulsion and Cascade Synthesis

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Artificial polyenzyme (ArPoly) forms amphiphilic proteinpolymer conjugates that stabilize Pickering emulsions with tunable interfacial properties for biocatalysis. These emulsions enable efficient and robust single‐step reactions, multi‐step biocatalytic cascades, and whole‐cell catalysis.

Identification of Anoikis‐Related Subgroups and Prognosis Model in Colon Cancer

open access: yesCancer Nexus, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Anoikis represents a distinct type of programmed cell death that serves a critical function in tumor development and metastatic. Despite its significance, there remains a notable gap in comprehensive studies that explore the role of Anoikis specifically within the context of colon cancer (CC). Thus, it becomes imperative to pinpoint

Pharmacokinetics, Safety, and Skin Irritation and Sensitization Potential of Clascoterone Cream in Early‐Phase Clinical Study Participants

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology in Drug Development, EarlyView.
Abstract Clascoterone is an androgen receptor inhibitor approved for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years of age and older. Here, we report results of 5 phase 1 studies that assessed the pharmacokinetics (PK), safety, and skin irritation and sensitization potential of clascoterone cream 1% in healthy participants and patients with acne ...

Heart failure and obesity: Translational approaches and therapeutic perspectives. A scientific statement of the Heart Failure Association of the ESC

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract Obesity and heart failure (HF) represent two growing pandemics. In the general population, obesity affects one in eight adults and is linked with an increased risk for HF. Obesity is even more common in patients with HF, where it complicates the diagnosis of HF and is linked with worse symptoms and impaired exercise capacity. Over the past few

The crosstalk between immune activation and metabolism in heart failure. A scientific statement of the Heart Failure Association of the ESC

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract A better understanding of additional mechanisms of heart failure (HF) progression may allow a different and more complete phenotyping of the disease and identification of novel therapeutic targets. Persistent latent myocardial inflammation/immune activation in HF may represent an attempt to restore tissue homeostasis in the failing heart ...

Synthesis, Characterization, and Electrochemical Properties of Tri‐ and Tetranuclear CoIII‐Oxo Complexes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
A series of three tetranuclear and two trinuclear Co(III) carboxylate complexes are synthesized and thoroughly spectroscopically and electrochemically characterized. The relative stability of the tetranuclear versus trinuclear complexes is investigated by density functional theory calculations, and the infrared and ultraviolet/visible spectra are ...
