Testing the Origin of Cosmological Magnetic Fields through the Large-Scale Structure Consistency Relations

open access: yes, 2014
We study the symmetries of the post-recombination cosmological magnetohydrodynamical equations which describe the evolution of dark matter, baryons and magnetic fields in a self-consistent way.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Robust Cuboid Modeling from Noisy and Incomplete 3D Point Clouds Using Gaussian Mixture Model

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
A cuboid is a geometric primitive characterized by six planes with spatial constraints, such as orthogonality and parallelism. These characteristics uniquely define a cuboid.

Conformal consistency relations for single-field inflation

open access: yes, 2012
We generalize the single-field consistency relations to capture not only the leading term in the squeezed limit---going as 1/q^3, where q is the small wavevector---but also the subleading one, going as 1/q^2.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

A note on Soft Topology

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2016
Cagman et al. (2011) [3] introduced soft topologyon a soft set and deflned soft topological space. They deflned thebasic notions of soft topological spaces such as soft open sets, softclosed sets, soft interior, soft closure, soft basis, soft ...

Black hole formation and classicalization in ultra-Planckian 2→N scattering

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2015
We establish a connection between the ultra-Planckian scattering amplitudes in field and string theory and unitarization by black hole formation in these scattering processes.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Meniscal Allograft Transplantation With Soft-Tissue Fixation Including the Anterior Intermeniscal Ligament

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, 2020
Meniscal allograft transplantation has been introduced as a treatment for symptomatic meniscus-deficient patients to improve clinical outcomes. We describe an arthroscopic technique for meniscal allograft with soft-tissue fixation including the anterior ...

Fluctuations of a one-dimensional polynuclear growth model in a half space

open access: yes, 2003
We consider the multi-point equal time height fluctuations of a one-dimensional polynuclear growth model in a half space. For special values of the nucleation rate at the origin, the multi-layer version of the model is reduced to a determinantal process,
