We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Requirements Engineering: In Search of the Dependent Variables
When software development teams modify their requirements engineering process as an independent variable, they often examine the implications of these process changes by assessing the quality of the products of the requirements engineering process,

Beyond accuracy: Assessing software documentation quality
Good software documentation encourages good software engineering, but the meaning of “good” documentation is vaguely defined in the software engineering literature.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Software developers' perceptions of soft skills in software requirements engineering [PDF]
Software requirements express users' needs and constraints for a software system to be constructed in order to solve some real problems. Both researchers and practitioners from industry point out that well performed requirements related activities have ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Putting the Engineering into Software Engineering Education [PDF]
Based on over 20 years of teaching and research experience, the author provides his assessment of software engineering education. He then builds on the analysis to provide recommendations on how we need to diverge from computer science to increase our impact, gain credibility, and ultimately ensure the success and recognition of our young discipline. A

Automotive Software Engineering in an increasingly Data-Driven Automotive Sector [PDF]
Automotive trends such as power-train electrification, personalization, connectivity, and automated driving are not well supported by the classical approach to hardware/software architectures that centre around numerous, dedicated electronic control ...
