PENGARUH BOBOT ISI TANAH TERHADAP SIFAT FISIK TANAH DAN PERKECAMBAHAN BENIH KACANG TANAH DAN KEDELAI (EFFECT OF SOIL BULK DENSITY ON SOIL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES AND SEED GERMINATIONS OF PEANUT AND SOYBEAN)

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Pertanian Indonesia, 2010
Soil physical properties can affect to seed germination and plant growth. Soil compaction will degrade soil physical properties which in term will affect to root penetration and development in the soil.

Coupled Above‐ and Belowground Ecosystem Stability Worldwide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Are the worlds above and below our feet in sync? This global exploration reveals an entangled fate between above‐ and belowground ecosystem stability. It identifies arid regions as hotspots for this coupling and highlights temperature stability as a vital safeguard for maintaining ecosystem balance across our warming planet.

Metabologenomic Hallmark‐Based Discovery of Bacterial Thioamides as a New Lead against Drug‐Resistant Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A targeted metabologenomic strategy integrating genomic and metabolomic hallmarks enabled the discovery of two new thioamides, thiogochangamides A and B, from bacteria. Their absolute configurations, previously unresolved within the thioviridamide family, were fully assigned through various chemical derivatizations and computational analysis ...

Substituent‐Based Modulation of Self‐Assembly and Immunogenicity of Amphipathic Peptides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study systematically investigates how positional and subtle changes, such as substituents on the phenyl ring attached to short amphipathic peptides, influence their self‐assembly, fibril morphology, and immunogenic responses. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled peptide‐based biomaterials provide versatile platforms for biomedical uses, featuring customizable ...

Assessment of Crawler Tractor Effects on Soil Surface Properties

open access: yesCaspian Journal of Environmental Sciences, 2013
Skidding operations can cause considerable and wide spread soil disturbance. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of ground skidding operations on soil compaction, moisture content, and total porosity at different levels of slope and

Bioenergy Cropping Reduces the Spatiotemporal Scaling of Soil Bacterial Biodiversity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Consistent with patterns observed in plant and animal communities, soil bacterial communities exhibit significant species–time–area and phylogenetic–time–area relationships independent of nested structure. Bioenergy cropping significantly reduces the spatiotemporal scaling rates, particularly in sandy loam soils.

Natural Variations of ZmRLR1 Mediate the Root Lodging Resistance of Maize by Regulating Root Ascorbate and Auxin Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Root lodging severely limits crop yield and quality. We reveal that ZmRLR1, a plasma membrane b‐type cytochrome, regulates lodging resistance in maize through dual roles: modulating intracellular redox balance and functioning as a novel component of clathrin‐mediated endocytosis to influence auxin homeostasis. Moreover, natural variations in the ZmRLR1

PERTUMBUHAN SEMAI SENGON DAN MANGIUM PADA TANAH PADAT

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Pertanian Indonesia, 2010
The research was conducted to examine the seedling of mangium (Acacia mangium and sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria) on compacted soil. Soil was compacted with a proctor test at the different level of bulk density (0.9;1.0; 1.1; 1.2; 1.3 g/cm3) with 10 ...
