Neuroprotective Effects of Time‐Restricted Feeding Combined With Different Protein Sources in MPTP‐Induced Parkinson's Disease Mice Model and Its Modulatory Impact on Gut Microbiota Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) exerts protein‐dependent neuroprotective effects in an MPTP‐induced Parkinson's disease model. In casein‐fed mice, TRF improves gut barrier integrity and reduces neuroinflammation, possibly via modulation of Allobaculum and BCAAs.

Interactive effect of land use types and depth on selected physicochemical properties of soils: A case study

open access: yesNova Geodesia
Inappropriate land use management usually upsets soil nutrient status, leading to unsustainable crop and soil productivity. This study investigated the interactive effect of land use types and soil depth on selected soil properties, based on a case ...

CQESTR Simulation of Management Practice Effects on Long-Term Soil Organic Carbon [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Management of soil organic matter (SOM) is important for soil productivity and responsible utilization of crop residues for additional uses. CQESTR, pronounced “sequester,” a contraction of “C sequestration” (meaning C storage), is a C balance model that

Metabologenomic Hallmark‐Based Discovery of Bacterial Thioamides as a New Lead against Drug‐Resistant Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A targeted metabologenomic strategy integrating genomic and metabolomic hallmarks enabled the discovery of two new thioamides, thiogochangamides A and B, from bacteria. Their absolute configurations, previously unresolved within the thioviridamide family, were fully assigned through various chemical derivatizations and computational analysis ...
