Microbes: Affect physical properties of soil
These studies indicate that some of the microbial polysaccharides are relatively resistant to decomposition by soil organisms and, therefore, may well be contributing influences to the favorable effects of organic residues on soil physical properties.

Impact of Disorder on Microscopic Superconducting and Normal‐State Responses in a Kagome Metal
Using depth‐resolved, field‐ and pressure‐dependent μSR$\umu{\rm SR}$ measurements, we show that disorder in Ta‐doped KV3Sb5 drives a crossover from nodal to nodeless superconductivity while strongly modifying the normal‐state magnetic response. Our results reveal that disorder affects superconductivity and magnetism in fundamentally different ways ...

Physical Properties of Organic Soils [PDF]
Compared with research on mineral soils, the study of the physical properties of organic soils in the United States is relatively new. Always (1920) and Anderson et al. (1951) considered the value and reclamation of peats in Minnesota and nationally.

A tubular electrowetting pump moves alternating droplets through a millimeter‐wide channel in discrete, reversible steps, functioning as a fluidic stepper motor. With no moving parts and electrodes insulated from the liquid, it delivers silent, accurate flow. Flexibility allows the pump to be woven directly into textiles for wearable, medical, and soft‐
