RİSKLERİ VE VAATLERİYLE SOL POPÜLİZM
Sol popülizm tartışmaları yeni olmamakla birlikte, çağdaş dünyadaneoliberalizmin krizi ile birlikte yeniden canlanmıştır. Sağ popülist iktidarlarve liderlerin seçim başarıları karşısında, seçmenleri popülist bir strateji ilesola döndürme umudunu ifade ...

Influence of the Dufour effect on convection in binary gas mixtures
Linear and nonlinear properties of convection in binary fluid layers heated from below are investigated, in particular for gas parameters. A Galerkin approximation for realistic boundary conditions that describes stationary and oscillatory convection in ...

A reactive in situ solution complexation strategy reconstructs the surface of 2.0 eV ultra‐wide‐bandgap perovskites via proton transfer. This chemical modulation eliminates metallic defects and induces a degenerate‐like n‐type surface, establishing an Ohmic tunneling contact.

Competition between Spiral-Defect Chaos and Rolls in Rayleigh-Benard Convection
We present experimental results for pattern formation in Rayleigh-Benard convection of a fluid with a Prandtl number, Pr~ 4. We find that the spiral-defect-chaos (SDC) attractor which exists for Pr~1 has become unstable.

Bioactive conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce hydrogels with with scavenging ROS and alleviating neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction are exploited for SCI treatment. This functionality is attributed to interfacial activation modification of Ti3C2Tx with Ce3+ ions to in‐situ form Ce(OH)x‐mediated protective layer, which is beneficial to enabling stable intracellular ...

Diffusion-induced vortex filament instability in 3-dimensional excitable media
We studied the stability of linear vortex filaments in 3-dimensional (3D) excitable media, using both analytical and numerical methods. We found an intrinsic 3D instability of vortex filaments that is diffusion-induced, and is due to the slower diffusion

Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

Self-replication and splitting of domain patterns in reaction-diffusion systems with fast inhibitor
An asymptotic equation of motion for the pattern interface in the domain-forming reaction-diffusion systems is derived. The free boundary problem is reduced to the universal equation of non-local contour dynamics in two dimensions in the parameter region

The repair and regeneration of brain tissue faces both biological and technical challenges. Injectable bioscaffolds offer new opportunities to stimulate tissue regrowth in the brain by recruiting neural stem cells. Here, the translational issues are reviewed that need to be address to advance this promising new therapeutic approach from the bench to ...

Biocompatibility of bismuth silicate coatings deposited on 316L stainless steel by sol-gel process
Películas delgadas de silicato de bismuto (BSO) se han fabricado mediante el proceso sol-gel. El sol estable se sintetizó utilizando nitrato de bismuto (III) pentahidrato y tetraetil-ortosilicato (TEOS).
