The Internal‐External Synergy of Self‐Reconstructed C/NiFeOOH/SeO42− for Efficient and Stable Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an internal‐external synergy strategy where a C@FeNi2Se4 core‐shell precursor reconstructes in to a C/FeNi2Se4/SeO42− architecture during OER. The inner C stabilizes active sites while the outer SeO42− layer repels Cl−, achieving efficient and stable seawater oxidation for over 150 h at 400 mA cm−2.

Tuned Oxidation Potential of Continuous Defective Photocatalyst for Selective Biomass Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work develops a wavelength‐controlled photocatalytic strategy that utilizes defect‐state excitation to modulate oxidative capability for biomass selective conversion. By tuning the photooxidation potential to match substrate reactivity, the system suppresses overoxidation and enables the selective formation of value‐added products, providing a ...

Decoupling the Transparency‐Efficiency Trade‐Off in Semi‐Transparent Organic Solar Cells via Optimized Dual‐Channel Photoelectric Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The respective roles of the heterojunction (HJ) and spontaneously formed photo‐charge (SP) channels in low‐donor‐content devices have been decoupled and subjected to a targeted optimization strategy. A breakthrough of light utilization efficiency (LUE) in semi‐transparent organic solar cells (ST‐OSCs) is achieved.

Highly Robust Membrane Electrode Assembly Using Engineered Dual‐Phase Iridium Oxide Catalysts Breaking the Activity–Durability Trade‐Off in Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The dual‐phase iridium oxide catalyst was synthesized via a hard‐template‐assisted method, overcoming the conventional activity–durability trade‐off observed in Ir‐based catalysts. The HDP‐IrOx exhibits excellent catalytic activity and long‐term stability through the synergistic coupling between amorphous and crystalline phases, offering new insights ...

Robust and Tailored 1D/3D Heterojunction for Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study successfully established a robust 1D/3D heterojunction, characterized by a stable 1D phase, favorable lattice matching, strong interface binding, and effective defect passivation. The resulting epitaxial perovskite film demonstrates preferential vertical orientation of (100) facets, thereby facilitating carriers’ transport and stress relief.
