Are Solar Panels a Viable Power Source for a Green Energy Vehicle? [PDF]
A solar cell powered go-kart has been built and tested. The result shows using solar energy alone cannot meet the requirement of running a regular passenger car. This is due to the limited surface area of the passenger car. This thesis also discusses the

A polyelectrolyte complex‐based sorbent is produced by scalable, environmentally benign aqueous phase inversion. Its porous, LiCl‐ and GO‐integrated architecture enables hourly adsorption−desorption cycles at low relative humidity (RH < 30%). A large‐scale prototype achieves multicyclic, solar‐driven atmospheric water harvesting of 1.37 L kg−1 day−1 ...

A Minimal See-Saw Model for Hierarchical Neutrino Masses with Large Mixing
The atmospheric and solar neutrino oscillation data suggest hierarchical neutrino masses with at least one large mixing. The simplest see-saw models for reconciling the two features are U(1) extensions of the SM with flavour dependent gauge charges.

Liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy enables direct observation of nucleation and growth processes in solution. This review is dedicated to the remembrance of Helmut Cölfen and highlights recent studies on complex materials—oxides, biominerals, organic–inorganic crystals—which were central to his research activity. It summarizes key milestones,

Regularized energy-dependent solar flare hard x-ray spectral index
The deduction from solar flare X-ray photon spectroscopic data of the energy dependent model-independent spectral index is considered as an inverse problem.

Atomically engineered layered 2D Ti3CNTz carbonitride MXene exhibits ultrahigh heat and pressure sensitivity, enabling dual‐mode sensors with 300%–400% performance enhancement and durability for real‐time health‐monitoring interface devices. Precise nitrogen incorporation (e.g., Ti3C1.8N0.2Tz) boosts conductivity, enhancing temperature response, while ...

Nuclear physics input for solar models [PDF]
We discuss microscopic cluster model descriptions of two solar nuclear reactions, Be7(p,gamma)B8 and He3(He3,2p)He4. The low-energy reaction cross section of Be7(p,gamma)B8, which determines the high-energy solar neutrino flux, is constrained by Be7 and ...

Beyond the Edge: Charge‐Transfer Excitons in Organic Donor‐Acceptor Cocrystals
Complex excitonic landscapes in acene–perfluoroacene cocrystals are unveiled by polarization‐resolved optical spectroscopy and many‐body theory. This systematic study of a prototypical model system for weakly interacting donor–acceptor compounds challenges common views of charge‐transfer excitons, providing a refined conceptual framework for ...
