Generative AI‐Driven Accelerated Discovery of Passivation Molecules for Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A generative artificial intelligence (AI) framework combining a discriminative machine learning model (SMILES‐X) and a generative language model (GPT‐2) autonomously discovers new molecular passivators for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Through an iterative design loop, over 100 000 candidates are generated and screened, and randomly selected molecules

Energy‐Resolved Femtosecond Dynamics of Plasmon‐Induced Hole Injection at Au/GaN Heterointerfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We reveal the spectral signature of ultrafast nonthermal hot‐hole transfer at plasmonic heterointerfaces, which reshapes hot‐carrier relaxation dynamics and significantly enhances hydrogen evolution, providing a mechanistic basis for optimizing hot‐carrier utilization in photocatalysis.

The Gradual Slowing of the Solar Wind in the Outer Heliosphere

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The solar wind gradually slows with increasing distance from the Sun as interstellar material becomes ionized and picked up by the solar wind. When observing the solar wind in the outer heliosphere, it is difficult to differentiate temporal decreases in ...

Crystal Facet‐Polysaccharide Matching in CFS‐P Nanocrystals Drives Fungal Uptake, Vacuole Destruction, and Selective Antifungal Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Facet‐engineered PVP‐capped CuFeSe2 nanocrystals exhibit potent, selective antifungal activity by strongly binding cell‐wall mannan, enabling vacuolar entry and organelle disruption. High‐index facets show superior mannan affinity, validated by theoretical calculations and experiments. CFS‐P induces vacuolar cavitation, mitochondrial abnormalities, and

Fluorine‐Doping of Mesoporous TiO2 Enables Efficient Defect Passivation for High‐Efficiency and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We introduce an SF6 RIE plasma fluorination method for mesoporous TiO2, suppressing oxygen vacancies and improving charge extraction. The fluorinated TiO2 promotes uniform FAPbI3 film formation and enhances device performance under both one‐sun and indoor illumination.

Instabilities along the Axis of the Heliospheric Jets

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The heliosphere is influenced by the interaction of neutral hydrogen atoms from the interstellar medium with protons in the heliosheath (HS). The confinement by the solar magnetic field of the HS plasma forms distinct north and south heliospheric jets ...

Estimate of the Distance to the Solar Wind Termination Shock from Gradients of Anomalous Cosmic Ray Oxygen [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
The radial gradient of anomalous cosmic ray oxygen measured instantaneously between Voyager 2 and Pioneer 10 during 1985-1988 is correlated with the inferred tilt of the heliospheric neutral sheet.

THE SOLAR WIND AS A POSSIBLE SOURCE OF FAST TEMPORAL VARIATIONS OF THE HELIOSPHERIC RIBBON

open access: yes, 2013
We present a possible source of pickup ions (PUIs) the ribbon observed by the Interstellar Boundary EXplorer (IBEX). We suggest that a gyrating solar wind and PUIs in the ramp and in the near downstream region of the termination shock (TS) could provide ...

Decoupling Intrinsic Molecular Efficacy From Platform Effects: An Interpretable Machine Learning Framework for Unbiased Perovskite Passivator Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an interpretable machine learning framework that disentangles the intrinsic molecular efficacy of passivators from experimental platform effects—enabling unbiased, high‐throughput discovery of effective perovskite surface modifiers.
