Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Eliminating the ionic liquid from hybrid solid state electrolytes
Solid state electrolytes can enhance Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries significantly due to improved cycling performance and increased safety. In the past, several solid state electrolytes have been successfully developed, such as LISICON, garnets, etc. [1]

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Combination of SHS and Mechanochemical Synthesis for Nanopowder Technologies
The combination of mechanochemical activation and self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) have widened the possibilities for both methods. For metallic systems, the investigation showed that a short-term

Solid state NMR of sulfa-drugs [PDF]
This work has been a study of systems, mostly of sulfa-drugs, showing polymorphic behaviour. Using different means as solid state NMR, X-ray analysis, and theoretical calculations, we have seen how it is possible to understand results obtained from the ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Solid state polymeric electrolytes based on poly(epichlorohydrin)
Elastomers constituted of the homopolymer of epichlorohydrin, its copolymer with ethylene oxide and its terpolymer with ethylene oxide and allyl-glycidyl-ether were studied as polymeric electrolytes in polymer/LiClO4 systems.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
