Solid-state N.M.R. studies of platinum and tin compounds [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
High-resolution solid-state N.M.R. studies of dilute spins are now possible using cross-polarisation and MAS techniques. A systematic evaluation has been undertaken to determine their applicability to spin-½ metal nuclei, in particular (^195)Pt and (^119)

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

NMR studies of solid organometallic polymers [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
A series of solid organometallic polymers is known, consisting of octahedrally coordinated M(CN)(_6) [M=Co, Fe, Ru, Os] centres linked by trigonal bipyramidal connecting rods of the form R(_3)X [R=Me, Et, Bu] and derivatives thereof.

Development of a material based on hydroxyapatite and aluminosilicate zeolites with a binding agent for the formation of bioactive coatings

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов
The hardened composite material with a porous structure was obtained by mechanochemical synthesis of nanostructured hydroxyapatite synthesized by precipitation from an aqueous solution with reinforcing additives of zirconium dioxide and silicic acid ...

Solid State Chemistry of Ionic Fluorides [PDF]

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition in English, 1976
AbstractThe results of intensive pure research into the chemistry and physics of fluorides can be pieced together to give an overall picture whose discernible outlines hold promise of numerous new compounds having unusual and in some cases unique properties. Modern technology is called upon to exploit them.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

The effect of silicon dioxide on the structural, thermal and transport properties of an organic ionic plastic crystal (n-C4H9)4NBF4

open access: yesChimica Techno Acta
Composite solid electrolytes based on an organic ionic plastic crystal (n-C4H9)4NBF4 with highly dispersed SiO2 with specific surface area of Ss = 324±10 m2/g have been studied for the first time. By methods of X-ray diffraction and differential scanning

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Yb3-xErхAl5O12 for optical thermometry: measurement of luminescence caused by transitions from non-thermal coupled levels

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов
Erbium-doped ytterbium aluminum garnet has been synthesized by a precursor method. The samples were characterized by Infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy.

Solid state chemistry

open access: yesSolid State Communications, 1997
Even though non-molecular solids comprise only a small fraction of all known compounds, they have been technologically very important. These materials are the focus of Solid State Science. Once a new compound is synthesized, we have powerful tools of analysis to determine its structure and a host of physical properties and to connect these through ...
