Dissolution-limited reactions in solid-state synthesis
A mechanochemical approach using ball milling enables us to carry out organic reactions between solid-state reactants as well as those between liquid reactants.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

The Solid-State Emission of Bilirubin
Bilirubin (BR) is a human-biological compound formed during the haem metabolism that is insoluble in most solvents. BR has shown short emission lifetime with low quantum yield in limited number of solvents, due to the non-radiative ultrafast ...

Development of miniature all-solid-state potentiometric sensing system [PDF]
A procedure for the development of a pen-like, multi-electrode potentiometric sensing platform is described. The platform comprises a seven-in-one electrode incorporating all-solid-state ion-selective and reference electrodes based on the conductive ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Solid-state NMR studies of inclusion compounds [PDF]
The work contained within this thesis is a study of inclusion compounds using solid-state NMR. Such compounds typically exhibit static and/or dynamic disorder, which precludes the use of diffraction-based techniques to obtain detailed structural ...

The influence of fluoride ions on the strength properties of hydroxyapatite and based on it composite materials [PDF]
The article discusses the possibility of hardening of stoichiometric hydroxyapatite (HAP) obtained by deposition from a solution by means of the partial substitution of hydroxyl groups with fluorine ions and the introduction of reinforcement additive (10,

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
