On the Solvability of Systems of Equations Revisited

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Mathematics
In this paper, we introduce a new and direct approach to study the solvability of systems of equations generated by bilinear forms. More precisely, let $B (\cdot, \cdot)$ be a non-degenerate bilinear form and $E$ be a set in $\mathbb{F}_q^2$. We prove that if $|E|\gg q^{5/3}$ then the number of triples $(B(x, y), B(y, z), B(z, x))$ with $x, y, z\in E$

Prognosis of Long‐Term Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and the Impact of Combined Continuous Intravenous Sodium Infusion Therapy

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Approximate Controllability of Infinite-Dimensional Degenerate Fractional Order Systems in the Sectorial Case

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
We consider a class of linear inhomogeneous equations in a Banach space not solvable with respect to the fractional Caputo derivative. Such equations are called degenerate.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Discrete-Time Goldfishing

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2011
The original continuous-time ''goldfish'' dynamical system is characterized by two neat formulas, the first of which provides the N Newtonian equations of motion of this dynamical system, while the second provides the solution of the corresponding ...

Why scalar products in the algebraic Bethe ansatz have determinant representation

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We show that the scalar products of on-shell and off-shell Bethe vectors in the algebralic Bethe ansatz solvable models satisfy a system of linear equations. We find solutions to this system for a wide class of integrable models. We also apply our method

On locally finite minimal non-solvable groups

open access: yes, 2010
In the present work we consider infinite locally finite minimal non-solvable groups, and give certain characterizations. We also define generalizations of the centralizer to establish a result relevant to infinite locally finite minimal non-solvable ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...
