Product-type system of difference equations of second-order solvable in closed form
This paper presents solutions of the following second-order system of difference equations $$x_{n+1}=\frac{y_n^a}{z_{n-1}^b},\qquad y_{n+1}=\frac{z_n^c}{x_{n-1}^d},\qquad z_{n+1}=\frac{x_n^f}{y_{n-1}^g},\qquad n\in N_0,$$ where $a,b,c,d,f,g\in Z$, and ...

Single-particle properties in an exactly solvable A-body system.
A recent theorem states that for quantum many-body systems with short-range interactions the following property holds: the single-particle overlap functions, spectroscopic factors and separation energies of bound eigenstates of the (A - 1)-particle ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

A note on general solutions to a hyperbolic-cotangent class of systems of difference equations
Recently there has been some interest in difference equations and systems whose forms resemble some trigonometric formulas. One of the classes of such systems is the so-called hyperbolic-cotangent class of systems of difference equations.

Solvable systems of linear differential equations
The asymptotic iteration method (AIM) is an iterative technique used to find exact and approximate solutions to second-order linear differential equations. In this work, we employed AIM to solve systems of two first-order linear differential equations. The termination criteria of AIM will be re-examined and the whole theory is re-worked in order to fit

Description of three dimensional solvable evaluation algebras
The concept of evolution algebras lies between algebras and dynamical system. In this paper we are going to describe three dimensional nilpotent, solvable evolution algebras.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
