Relationship of daily total somatic cell output with somatic cell concentration and clinical mastitis

Somatic cell count (SCC) measures the concentration of somatic cells in milk and is used as a mastitis diagnostic tool. It is plausible that variation in milk yield could alter the relationship between SCC and mastitis status.

Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.
