Padrões de acúmulo de proteínas e carboidratos durante a embriogênese somática de Acca sellowiana [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The aim of this work was to quantify the protein, starch and total sugars levels during histodifferentiation and development of somatic embryos of Acca sellowiana Berg.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Induksi dan Proliferasi Embriogenesis Somatik In Vitro pada Lima Genotipe Kedelai [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Somatic embryo induction medium was reported to be genotype dependent for soybean. This study was aimed to obtain the optimum medium for embryo somatic induction and proliferation, and to regenerate somatic embryo of five soybean genotypes.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

In vitro callogenesis essays to induce somatic embryogenesis of the Tunisian chickpea

open access: yesNotulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca, 2022
The present study was the first report on the somatic embryogenesis of the Tunisian chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) particularly supposed to be recalcitrant and difficult to manipulate in vitro.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

The Effect of TDZ and 2, 4-D Concentrations on the Induction of Somatic Embryo and Embryogenesis in Different Cocoa Genotypes

open access: yes, 2012
The effect of 2, 4-D and TDZ concentrations on primary embryogenesis seem to be genotype dependent. There were significant differences between the control and the other treatments on somatic embryo production by genotype AMAZ 3-2.

Prospects for transgenesis in the chick [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Research to develop a useful method for genetic modification of the chick has been on-going since the first demonstrations in the mouse in the 1980s that genetic modification is an invaluable tool for the study of gene function. Manipulation of the chick

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).
