Physical readiness and performance of adolescents of different somatotype
Purpose: to investigate the rate of puberty, changes in indicators of physical fitness and physical activity at the same somatotype different boys in the age range from 11 to 14 years. Material : 123 teenager were examined.

A method based on a 60‐GHz frequency‐modulated continuous‐wave (FMCW) radar system is proposed to measure respiratory indices, including FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC. Experimental results carried out on 35 subjects demonstrated that radar‐based spirometry could achieve a high agreement with conventional spirometry.

Exposed Body Surface Area—A Determinate for UV Radiant Energy in Human UV Exposure Studies
In this paper, knowledge on body shape and methods of calculating the body surface area (BSA) are summarized. BSA and body shape differ significantly between different populations and both change during life. We propose formulas for BSA that consider height, weight, gender, ethnicity, age and body shape.
