Interactions of Antibody Drug Conjugate Anti‐Tubulin and Topoisomerase I Inhibitor Payloads with Radiotherapy to Potentiate Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody drug conjugates deliver their cytotoxic anti‐tubulin or topoisomerase I inhibitor payloads to tumors through cancer cell receptor targeting. The released drug payloads induce cellular changes that interact with radiotherapy resulting in radiosensitization that improves cancer cell kill and stimulates anti‐tumor immune responses.

Comedy in Plutarch’s Parallel Lives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Plutarch quotes Attic comedy as evidence, but he also uses both invective and stereotypes from comedy in order to illustrate and judge the character of his protagonists, as seen in the Lives of Demetrius, Antony, Pericles, and Fabius ...

Monte-Carlo simulations of photohadronic processes in astrophysics [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A new Monte Carlo program for photohadronic interactions of relativistic nucleons with an ambient photon radiation field is presented. The event generator is designed to fulfil typical astrophysical requirements, but can also be used for radiation and ...

Electronic Structure Reorganization in MPS3 via d‐Shell‐Selective Alkali Metal Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Alkali metal doping of layered MPS3 antiferromagnets reveals d‐shell‐selective responses. While MnPS3 resists charge transfer due to its half‐filled 3d5 shell, FePS3 and NiPS3 behave similarly to CoPS3 by accommodating extra d‐electrons. Yet only CoPS3, with its least stable d‐shell, undergoes pronounced band restructuring and a semiconducting‐to ...

NON-PERFORMING LOANS: ANALYSIS AND REGULATION [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The analysis of the level of non-performing loans and the volumes of forming the insurance reserves for them with a time lag of 6 years (2004–2009) in developing countries (China, Poland, Russia, Ukraine) was made.

Evaluating the Utilities of Foundation Models in Single‐Cell Data Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study delivers the first systematic, task‐level evaluation of single‐cell foundation models across eight core analytical tasks. By benchmarking 10 leading models with the scEval framework, it reveals where foundation models truly add value, where task‐specific methods still dominate, and provides concrete, reproducible guidelines to steer the next

Establishment of a Genetic Transformation and Gene Editing Method by Floral Dipping in Descurainia sophia

open access: yesPlants
Descurainia sophia L. Webb ex Prantl is used in traditional medicine globally. However, the lack of an efficient and reliable genetic transformation system has seriously limited the investigation of gene function and further utilization of D. sophia.

Neuid: A Novel Neuron‐Enriched LncRNA that Connects Epigenetic Gene Silencing to Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The increasing evidence that non‐coding RNAs can become deregulated during pathogenesis is dramatically expanding the space for drug discovery beyond the protein‐coding genome. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are emerging as key regulators of cellular function, yet most remain uncharacterized.
