Soret and Dufour Effects on the Flow of Spilled Oil in the Soil
Study about the movement of oil flow describing the transport of hydrocarbons dissolved in the water on soil are considered including the effects of viscous and Darcy dissipation, energy flux caused by both temperature gradient and concentration gradient on the unsteady convective heat and mass transfer in the subsurface. The resulting fluid flow, heat

Numerical analysis for endoscope and Soret and Dufour effects on peristalsis of Prandtl fluid
This article addresses the effect of endoscope on peristaltic flow of Prandtl fluid in an inclined tube. Simultaneous study of heat and mass transfer is performed by considering thermal-diffusion and diffusion-thermo effects.

The investigation focuses on the natural convection of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) double‐diffusive nanoencapsulated phase change material (NEPCM) in an annulus composed of square and concentric horizontal circular cylinders. The right, upper, and bottom walls of the outer square cylinder are cooled, while the inner circular cylinder is heated. The NEPCM

A computational model for analyzing heat and mass transfer in MHD viscoelastic nanofluid flow with Brownian motion, thermal radiation and chemical reaction are developed in this work. The findings demonstrate how flow stability, heat transfer, and solute distribution are impacted by these significant physical effects.

The schematic of the problem is shown in the graphical abstract image. ABSTRACT This study presents a numerical sensitivity investigation of the velocity behavior of a tangent hyperbolic fluid over a stretching sheet embedded in a porous medium under slip conditions. The governing equations describing the flow are transformed into a system of nonlinear

ABSTRACT The role of magnetic induction is declared fundamental in many technological systems, including electric generators, inductors, transformers, and so on. This is an important source for converting energy from one form to another while utilizing electromagnetic induction. This phenomenon is efficient when the induced magnetic field is introduced

Terminal Falling Characteristics of a Sand Grain with Dufour and Soret Effects
The transient effect of double diffusive natural convection of flow in a differentially heated sand grain with Soret and Dufour coefficients is studied numerically. The right vertical wall has constant temperature Tc. The lower inlet opening is heated uniformly with fixed temperature Th and the velocity at the inlet of the fluid domain is set to the ...
