Characterization of the Interaction of Known G‐quadruplex Ligands With a Minimal i‐Motif Structure

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The destabilization of a minimal i‐Motif (iM) structure by TMPyP4 is driven by ligand recognition of one terminal iM structural domain. ABSTRACT Peculiar genomic regions are prone to evolve transiently from double‐helix DNA to noncanonical secondary structures in response to physiological stress.

Dufour and Soret Effects on Mixed Convection Flow Past a Vertical Porous Flat Plate with Variable Suction

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2006
In this paper the Dufour and Soret effects on mixed convection flow past a vertical porous flat plate embedded in a porous medium have been studied numerically. The governing non-linear partial differential equations have been transformed by a similarity

Coordination Chemistry of Boron Subphthalocyanine With BINOL Derivatives: Unexpected Oxidation to Oxa[4]Helicene and Properties of the Resulting Axially Coordinated Complexes Containing Oxa[4]Helicene and/or BINOL Derivatives

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Treatment of BINOL with a boron subphthalocyanine derivative resulted in the formation of a complex coordinated to an oxa[4]helicene derivative, which is generated via a ring‐closure reaction of BINOL. In contrast, treatment of the monomethyl ether of 1,1′‐bi‐2‐naphthol (BINOL) afforded the expected axially coordinated complex.

Numerical simulation for MHD Williamson fluid utilizing modified Darcy’s law

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2018
Objective of present investigation is to study peristaltic flow of MHD Williamson fluid in a planar symmetric channel. An incompressible fluid occupies the porous medium in a channel.

Fluorescence Behavior of Water‐Soluble Porphyrins Immobilized on LTA Zeolite and Its Chlorogenic Acid Polyphenol Sensing in Coffee Wastewater

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
During coffee bean and cherry washing, contaminants are released into water, making this process a major source of water pollution. Chlorogenic acid can be efficiently detected using hybrid zeolite–porphyrin materials by measuring fluorescence quenching, achieving detection limits lower than current regulatory thresholds.

Mixed convective flow of Maxwell nanofluid past a porous vertical stretched surface – An optimal solution

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2016
Present investigation is devoted to examine the mixed convective flow of Maxwell nanofluid with Soret and Dufour effects through a porous medium. Effects of variable temperature and concentration over a linearly permeable stretched surface are also taken

Investigation of cross-diffusion effect on radiative Jeffery-Hamel flow in convergent/divergent stretchable channel with Lorentz force and Joule heating

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
This article documents the hydro-magnetic, incompressible Jeffery-Hamel flow in convergent/divergent (CD) channels with stretchable walls. Although there seem to be several works on the subject in the available literature, only a few attempts have been ...

Developmental dynamics of symptoms of emotional problems in childhood and adolescence: A longitudinal network analysis

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
This study examined how emotional symptoms co‐develop from childhood to adolescence using longitudinal data from over 11,000 children and adolescents. Network analyses revealed reciprocal links between core symptoms of anxiety and depression, with no significant differences between males and females.

Analytical Modeling of MHD Flow over a Permeable Rotating Disk in the Presence of Soret and Dufour Effects: Entropy Analysis

open access: yesEntropy, 2016
The main concern of the present article is to study steady magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) flow, heat transfer and entropy generation past a permeable rotating disk using a semi numerical/analytical method named Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM).
